Balboa Park is a 1,200-acre historic urban cultural park in San Diego. In addition to open space areas, natural vegetation zones, green belts, gardens, and walking paths, it contains many cool museums, several theaters, and the San Diego Zoo.

San Diego has many great beaches including Sarah's favorites Del Mar and La Jolla Shores.

Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve is 2,000 acres of coastal state park located in San Diego off North Torrey Pines Road that offers scenic hiking trails. It remains one of the wildest stretches of land on the Southern California coast. Three popular trails at the park are Guy Fleming Trail, Razor Point Trail, and Beach Trail.
